CO2 Emissions. Reduce, Replace, Neutralise. Keen to reduce any impact we have on the environment, we were the first company in our sector to join a scheme called targetneutral.

Welcome to Arena

Home to the UK's top aerial filming crews, our work can't be beaten for creativity or price. We own six 'camera-ships' and produce professionally colour-balanced pictures from 'Cinema quality' HD cameras - as used on BBC's Spooks, The Apprentice and numerous TV commercials. Our cameras are deliberately side-mounted towards the aircraft nose. This allows the aircraft to approach, track past & orbit objects without getting the aircraft skids in shot.

We own everything in-house which minimizes costs. We are a specialist CAA audited filming operator, taking your safety very seriously. We have worked hard to build-up a unique relationship with the various authorities essential to achieving the results you will rightly expect. We fly over 1,400 hours a year and although we're the biggest company in our sector, customer satisfaction remains paramount. Arena is a Telegraph 1000 business which is a measure of quality and sustained growth.

Not to be confused with the more basic Robinson HD News Helicopter, our Robinson HD package brings Sony's renowned HDC-1500R movie quality camera within reach of all Clients. Simply put, the kit is technically far superior and better priced. We master on XDCAM, HDCAM or HDCAM SR up to 4:4:4 at 880Mbps. The Cineflex HiDEF with its 84x lens is the top of the range system. Other Cineflex products are built to a lower specification.

Our "go anywhere" twin engine AS355 aircraft are also very popular and used for example on our Sky News (clip) & BBC News (clip) contracts. We are well known for our work on The Apprentice, ITV News at Ten titles & The X-Factor. Arena is "the" established and reliable name you can trust to deliver a first class solution at the lowest possible price. If that's not enough, we are also backed up by the expertise of the UK's largest independent Outside Broadcast operator - Arena Television.
